Practices of Welcome - A Lenten Invitation
Practices of Welcome is a simple Lenten invitation to slow down and pay attention to how we show up for one another. Especially in online spaces. In a world shaped by speed, noise, and scarcity, welcome is not automatic. It is practiced. Each day offers a small, concrete action that can be lived out in comments, messages, livestreams, emails, and digital communities where real people gather.
This is an experiment in online mission and ministry. Alongside each daily practice, you will find a short finding, resource, or insight from the Online Mission and Ministry Working Group, as well as a practical online safety tip designed to help protect the vulnerable from scams and harm. There is nothing to keep up with here. It is only an invitation to notice, to practice, and to return each day as Lent unfolds.
This resource is offered by the Anglican Diocese of Toronto's Online Mission & Ministry Working Group (OMMWG). Learn more at toronto.anglican.ca.
